I'm contemplating drinking some Amaretto.  Out of my finest red plastic cup with the snowmen on it.

Blue Nun. It's a white German wine from Rhine-Hesse. Sweet and pretty low in alcohol  :glug:

In one of my Latin books the Greek school teacher has no wine at home, so he goes to the taberna to drink some. While there he discusses philosophy with the local doctor. He says that he doesn't fear the gods. A thunderstorm breaks out, and his house is destroyed by lightning. He manages to save one of his books, which, ironically, is Lucretius De rerum natura book six, which is about natural disasters  :-\

I guess the moral of the story is:  Don't keep wine at home, go to the taberna in case
a thunderstorm breaks out and destroys your home.  In the taberna you will be safe among the other drunks!   :arrr:
