Bugger, I forgot to buy some this evening. Oh well.. tomorrow another chance.
And ja, it is comforting in Winter. There's this dark variant nowadays here (in supermarkets/seen it).. think I'll give that a try.
Cacao, sugar, milk and/or water, and you can make it as strong as you want, the moment you want it. And, then you can play with additions too.
Hot chocolate could become a new culinary quest Lutra. Chocomel doesn't have to get rich because of you. (Haven't tried the dark version yet, but the regular version often is not really my kind of hot chocolate)
Hey.. missed your quote-post completely.. and yes, have made it myself years ago.. with cacao, sugar and full fat milk but also with the pre-mixed powder stuff where one simply mixes it with milk. Have to try (the first option) again soon.. after I purchased some cacao that is. Ja, could be a new culinary quest indeed.
Probably will mention it here.. when I..
Amaretto, koffie, specerijen, de mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. En natuurlijk, slagroom.
Cacao, I've almost always got in storage. A sniff of it in ground coffee gives a nice touch, and, half a teaspoon in a hot bean dish, with chillies, bell peppers and corn and such makes the taste of the dish richer, without making it taste like chocolate.
