The job was durability testing for an engineering firm. Basically, preproduction models would be dropped off and we'd put miles on them and record anything that went wrong. The pay was shit, but the work was awesome. Especially since my crazy aspie obsession is cars.
Edit: lest I sound like I'm bragging too hard, I'll point out that most of what I drove was minivans and family sedans. Still, being out on the road, even in a boring POS, beats the hell out of being stuck in an office or doing manual labor all day.
