Is she OK? whats she done to her foot/feet? I hope she isn't in any pain.

I'm meant to be getting physio myself, on my bad leg though rather than my foot.  I do get pains sometimes in my left foot, my big toe specifically, but its nothing physiotherapy could do a thing about, since it comes from stepping on a sea urchin while on holiday in turkey, and getting a foot full of spines.

Bloody painful at the time, and then some. I could only walk if I angled my foot upwards and walked entirely on the ball of my heel..which was an unnatural and bloody uncomfortable position, but less so than trying to walk on a foot full of urchin spines.

I'm just glad I retracted my foot fast enough so it didn't sink deep enough to bring me within range of the pedicellaria, which in some urchin  species are highly venomous. There has been some residual soreness ever since, which comes and goes. Although its not too bad, and since I'm already on 120mg of oxycodone a day, I very, very rarely ever feel so much as a twinge from that.

The referral for physio is taking its sweet crowbegotten time though. Months so far. I just had a referral done for an MRI, and I got a letter with a final appointment within 3 days.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

History, Geography, Language Arts, Math and then the usual picking up of the youngest from school and other domestic type stuff. Put the oldest on a new school schedule which I think will work out better in his day. Gets everything done he needs to do academically, interspersed with free time. We'll see how it goes. Change is always fun around here

Work, then grab a beer with some work mates.

I have an appointment with my ophthalmologist. Then it's back to work.

What did he say?  How's your eye?

What did he say?  How's your eye?

He says that the surgery seems to have been a complete success. To know for sure I need to wait another few weeks but it certainly looks good.

The eye is better. It's still dry and itchy, and probably will be for the next few weeks, but the swelling is almost completely gone. It's healing. :)

Work, then dentist, to get myself prepared for wearing a crown.
Bring computer to my brother for fixing. The on and off switch is becoming very unreliable.
Stay over at my parents, till Saturday afternoon. Kids will be at their dad. They'll come home Saturday evening, I think.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Enjoy the time with your parents

Tomorrow is the usual schooling with the oldest. Then getting him packed up to go to his Dad's for the weekend. I will be kid free so Christmas shopping is definitely on the to do list after I drop him off.
