Is she OK? whats she done to her foot/feet? I hope she isn't in any pain.
I'm meant to be getting physio myself, on my bad leg though rather than my foot. I do get pains sometimes in my left foot, my big toe specifically, but its nothing physiotherapy could do a thing about, since it comes from stepping on a sea urchin while on holiday in turkey, and getting a foot full of spines.
Bloody painful at the time, and then some. I could only walk if I angled my foot upwards and walked entirely on the ball of my heel..which was an unnatural and bloody uncomfortable position, but less so than trying to walk on a foot full of urchin spines.
I'm just glad I retracted my foot fast enough so it didn't sink deep enough to bring me within range of the pedicellaria, which in some urchin species are highly venomous. There has been some residual soreness ever since, which comes and goes. Although its not too bad, and since I'm already on 120mg of oxycodone a day, I very, very rarely ever feel so much as a twinge from that.
The referral for physio is taking its sweet crowbegotten time though. Months so far. I just had a referral done for an MRI, and I got a letter with a final appointment within 3 days.
