Because I live in quirky New Orleans, although it is President's Day, all the banks and Federal offices will be open and the mail delivered.
Lest you think I'm dumb or crazy, we traditionally swap Mardi Gras for President's Day federal holiday. 

What I will be doing is trying to do housework, although I'll probably excuse my way out of it.

Yes, picking the Win, PLace and show positions in a horse race is a trifecta and pays very well. Picking the 3 horses for win, place and show in any order is a boxed trifecta and pays less.
