Going to work for the first time in 2 weeks.  Turned on my work laptop tonight to let Outlook catch up with my emails.  After my suite of 60 email rules had finished crunching through them I have 7000 emails in trash, 3500 seperated out into 40 or so folders that I retain for a week (it's all automated stuff for monitoring - I need it to prove batch stuff worked) and just over 500 left in my inbox that I have to read.

I should be caught up by Tuesday lunchtime.

The bloody French will be all over me the coming week. I was sick right before Xmas and had to cancel a bunch of meetings that are coming to haunt me now. Oh joy. Plus, there is the fact that I am trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Brute force is the ticket.

Sleep in until 9:30am, go to the Salvos at 11am and hope their air conditioning performs well because the maximum temperature is supposed to get to 38°C. From there I'll go to work around the corner at 5pm.
