Rained a bit overnight, but nothing like what was projected for the area.
I got my power tools out on a fabulous sunny day, to continue cutting the large panels to size, down from full sheets of plywood. I held off to start making noise until my wife awoke from her morning nap (she works at night and now working overtime. She had come home at 5 AM, then her shower and starting a load of laundry with her Contaminated clothing inside) and she had barely had a wink or two by the time I had it all hauled out and ready to go.
I used my time for very careful layout of my cuts. In less than two hours, I have all my sides and tops and bottoms cut (I had already cut the baffles and rear pieces, both of which require a series of preparations to get them ready to glue up.) to a workable size. After all the machining still to come, I will properly size everything once all the "inside" work is done.
Tomorrow, I am planning to begin the lengthy process of gluing up the box in stages.
