Take the youngest out to get some last minute stuff for her semi-formal. We didn't really think it through like hey she's going to need tights and oh yeah, she doesn't own any shoes other than winter boots and converse.

Seriously. I cancelled all of my clients until the new year as all except one are in relatively good places. The exception is in avoidance mode now anyway so I know she wouldn't want to meet with me. So I think I actually CAN turn my phone off if both kids are home. If not I keep it on so the youngest can reach me if she's at her Dad's but I silence all of my other messages.

Dude was backing into my driveway and his backup camera didn't kick in and as the SO asked me what we were expecting, he drove right into my van. It was hard enough and loud enough to hear it inside the house but surprisingly I have little damage. Small dent, paint scratch. His whole bumper is loose though.

But damn if it didn't cue an instant stress headache.

Go to a store to look at supplies for a small home reno project. When developers do tear downs, they save what they can and donate it to a specific store and you can go in and buy cabinetry, counters, lights, furniture etc at a fraction of the cost. We're adding a kitchenette in the basement and there's no sense buying full price when we can buy from here instead.

I'm going to get my hair cut tomorrow. Kayleigh's doctor appointment is at the same time so I have to be in two places at once. Joking, I'll drop her off first. It's on the same road as my hairdresser.
