Next week, they are doing a hackathon kind of thing, called "code camp". The idea is that people can work on what they want to work, except that whatever it is needs to be approved by the management first, which sort of defeats the whole idea behind a hackathon. They'll do this over 2.5 days.
I was able say thanks but no thanks because they are going away to somewhere in the middle of nowhere and I need to be at home.
