He should sue the bastards, after his surgery is done and his recovery effected (so they can't cut him off completely in vengeance for taking legal action, fire him etc); I should think that such self-preservation would be considered a valid reason for delaying the legal action.

The reason for this is that they are too dangerous to handle, a sub-microscopic speck (and I have a very good microscope) would be enough to kill many people, just by skin contact assuming said people could each touch an equal portion of such a speck.
