Hope to recover from this evening.

They were to come here at 7 pm, I thought. I came home from work at 4 pm, and there was already one here. Taking over everything. My wall had been layered with silly childish notes, and all just doesn't fit.
I raced home, after work, so I would have some time in relative quiet, to get through this evening with relative ease.

Take same note paper and write  'Justin Beiber has been involved in a horrific windsurfing/skydiving accident and his tongue has become severed from his head.  Need to stay tuned to the news channel to await news if doctors have been successful in re attaching'    If they are not fans of the little pipsqueek just insert name of latest heart throb/ pop idol.   Then leave the news channel on, go upstairs and run yourself a nice bath.

Ten mins before they are due to leave announce what a terrible mistake you had made.  :zoinks:


Tomorrow I have to get stuff ready for school on Tuesday.  Bath the urchin.  Maybe haircut for him too, yikes.  Prospect of a girly giggly night with teenagers seems quite appealing.

My moments of despair never last long. I was just missing out on my well planned time of quiet between work and having those girls over.
One of the girls absolutely overstayed her welcome. But, so be it.

Oldest is having a keen interest in chemistry, loves reading on vampires, as long as it isn't twilight, and a wicked sense of humour. Youngest is hanging out with the quirky guys.
I may end up with two female versions of you yet, Lestat.

Not the faintest idea what I will be doing tomorrow.

Today, I changed plans, staying home with kid.
So, now have to work further on those plans.
Think I will be finishing little things, that just need a little bit of attention, yet are forgotten all the time, because they have no great importance. Loose ends day.

I am supposed to be working up on a roof but I don't think the weather will permit it.  It has been on my schedule since the fall and every time I go to do it it rains or snows
