I am trying to set aside tomorrow as "ME" time. I have finally completed my second dipole subwoofer, got it painted white to go along with the rest of the shit I have in my listening room. Our new decorating theme is white, BTW.
I have yet to muscle it into my room, as this day starts.
Honestly, I am not in as much of a "hurry" as it seems from my monolog. I have one already working when I need. BUT, as most stereoholics know, you can not have a single subwoofer. You must have one for each stereo channel!
That in mind, as I continue to explore what a dipole subwoofer is capable of doing to fill a room with usable bass frequencies, I already have a bi-directional subwoofer system capable of energizing the room from at least two directions.
Adding another might more resemble having four subwoofers, but two are tied together, 180 degrees apart from the other. Each one creating its own bi-cardiod patterrn of propagation characteristics makes for a unique presentation.
I can't wait to get the second one muscled up to my room and further explore, using actual dual fifteen inch dipole subwoofers.
