Correct, CBC. It can be really aggressive too. Hence my being issued the tubes of mometasone gel, quite a potent corticosteroid, which will very effectively end a flare-up, although its not something I like to use any more than absolutely needs be. But as far as I'm concerned, eating away skin until the bare muscle tissue is exposed is reason enough! hurts like all perdition.
Recently, during a flare, all I DID was remove a sock, but the suface of my foot from heel to about the first third to first quarter of the arch, simply slid off and pulled away with the sock. NOT fun, especially to have to walk on. And yes, it itches like fury, blisters and all sorts, flaying off skin, deeply, its caused so much scarring that the heel of my left foot doesn't have a great deal of sensation, I could stick a pin through it and drive it in deeply, yet feel only mild discomfort, although actually penetrating the scar tissue would be difficult. I've missed a hit of heroin, or morphine, or dipropionylmorphine at times when trying to locate a vein in the ankle, and losing my balance. thats how I know, as that ended up with the needle tip stuck all the way from tip, to the end of the metal, using a half inch, 28g needle. Slipped, lost balance and stabbed myself putting out my hand on instinct to catch me as I slipped, only it still had the H, morph, etc. in its rig gripped in my hand.
Whisky, odeon? gross. Its one of the pretty few kinds of alcoholic beverage that I just cannot abide, the stench is sickening and they taste like shite. Whisky, wines/champaign too I loathe, as well as I won't drink cointreau, find the smell of it nauseating. But thats my own fault, for after managing to obtain a bottle of it, at about 12-13yo, and drinking the lot.
Resulting thundercunt of a hangover was more than enough to put me right off for the rest of my days:P Never, ever again. Wine, whisky I've always despised the tastes and smells of. Dislike most
cider too, although kopparberg frozen elderflower and lime cider sorbet is quite delightful, and totally out of keeping with my usual dislike for all things cider. I can manage to drink the usual stuff
but I'd not enjoy it, it would be more or less voluntary force-feeding.
