Topless Woman Stops Traffic, Being Treated

MONONGAHELA, Pa. -- A woman who strolled topless down Main Street and slapped a man could face charges, but for now, she is getting a mental health evaluation and treatment at a hospital, police said.

The woman stopped her vehicle shortly after 3 p.m. Monday, got out, took off her top and walked down the center of the road for two blocks, Monongahela Police Chief Brian Tempest said.

When a bystander asked the half-naked woman if she was OK, she slapped him across the face, took off her pants and began wearing them on her head and spinning them around, Tempest said.

She made some gestures to passing cars and continued walking down the middle of the street until she was met by police officers, Tempest said.

Both lanes of traffic had to be stopped by police. The woman scuffled briefly with the officers and screamed at them before being was taken away, Tempest said.

Photos of the half-naked woman were forwarded to Channel 4 Action News by a witness.

Police have not publicly identified her yet, but Tempest said she was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

If I'm ever in danger of becoming homeless at 65 or so, this sounds like a game plan.

She needs to come here, so we can teach her to be socially appropriate!   :tard:  :autism:
