Even then, the "new" MegaUpload would have nothing that the "old" one did. All of the data is lost forever.

I find that very hard to believe. Where did you read that?

Data centers in the Netherlands, Canada and Washington housing MegaUpload’s equipment were raided.

Says it right in the OP. ::)

No worries. It'll be back up soon.

Something similar happened with PirateBay, too.

Even then, the "new" MegaUpload would have nothing that the "old" one did. All of the data is lost forever.

When Pirate Bay got seized, nothing was actually lost.

That's primarily because TPB doesn't actually store content, but rather acts like a indexing service for the torrent P2P networks. They'd have to seize everyone's personal computers who are seeding to truly shut down TPB lol.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.
