I just saw this link posted on twitter... How the fuck would a law like this be implemented? check everyone's birth certificates on the way in? lol

This would be effectively making it impossible for a transsexual person to legally use a public toilet after a certain point in their transition

I think it is a perfectly sane plan, to not mix urine from different DNA gender pools.

All that hormones that can be filtered out of XX chromosome induced pee, too precious to let it go to waste by adding XY chromosome induced excrements.

I would like to make it a stricter law. Birth-certificate is not safe. DNA proof, to tell you were you can go. And, a public toilet bowl in the middle where all those can go, who don't fit the proper boxes.

It will also overrule any policies stores have (such as Macys who let trans people use whichever dressing rooms they want). You would think republicans would be AGAINST legislating what businesses should be doing in their own buildings. obviously the massive problem of transsexuals going to the toilet is much bigger than that tho

I've never ever seen a clothing shop with different dressing rooms for men and women I think.

Either I did not notice, and probably used the wrong ones on occasion, or, we simply don't have them here. I think the latter.

I never see unisex ones here. must be a US/UK thing. they're always male or female ones

The only difference I have ever seen in dressing rooms is they are in different parts of the store  near each sex's respective clothing with no signs restricting them but then again I don't shop much
