re: Eli Lilly- TBH that's my assumption re: the relevant parts of the FDA.  Who would make the right bribes to make sure that drugs do or don't get approved is a pretty intuitive.

There's a lot of different departments.  Actually doing a little bit of research I was more wondering about the USDA than about the FDA.  Virtually every single food item you buy here has nutrition labels that relate the nutrients in the food to what percent of said nutrients the UDSA recommended daily allowances.  It's something I think most people take for granted as "must be right," and I question who paid who to make Americans eat more of what.  And, who bribes who to keep it that way or to tweak it.

Apparently I need to educate myself more on the gigantic convoluted system that governs me and freaks me right the shit out the more I learn about it.

Freaks you out in what way? Are you or anyone you know experiencing the dreaded and more likely imagined consequences of going along with what the governmental institutions prescribe or whatever?
If you don't already understand why it would be unsettling to learn/understand how the government actually operates, I'm not sure I can explain it to you, save "that shit is usually pretty damn fucked up."  O_o

Edronax has a bad reputation for treating depression (but I seem to be doing ok on it) but some have indicated that it is quite a good drug for ADHD-inattentive type. It seems to be the equivalent of the much more expensive Strattera (also an NRI), which could be why Eli Lilly lobbied the FDA to prevent Edronax from getting into the USA. Hmm. It is Pfizer that makes Edronax.

I wonder if it has the nasty side effects Strattera has. Although some have had more luck with it than I have.

Judging from your latest posts, I'm going to assume you're just joking around with this reply.

But let's say you're serious, be specific. What is it exactly that has you worried?

Save for the inclusion of the simpson's vid for levity, no, not joking.  Again, if you don't get it, I'm not sure I can explain it to you.

I have been on Edronax since July 2010 and haven't experienced any side effects. But then I didn't have any with Cymbalta either. I do know that it is not enough by itself to treat my ADHD though.

My son went two times about 3 hours each, for the study and got somewhere around $200 my daughter went an hour and a half and got I think twenty five

Well, he didn't go in for scans and such, he had himself on IV's with drugs for final testing a couple of times. That's the bit my other friend said I should never ever do.

That is real guinea pig stuff a bit too much for us.  They have lots scan ones around here the others maybe too but they don't advertize them

There's a lot of advertising for med testing. Think it is at least two pharmaceutical test labs doing that.
They do require some specifics, depending on the drug they test. (female/male/smoking/non-smoking/age, stuff like that)
Would not enter one of these tests anyway. Would be way too much for me. Getting hooked up on an IV, then a day on a different kind of IV, so that they can test your blood every hour. Return days. UGH UGH YUK YUK. Would completely do my head in, and on top of that, I might end up with damage from the testing too.
