I finally understand the difficulties people with fibromyalgia have in getting to and staying asleep.
The pain in my hips and legs stop me from getting to sleep big time. Then Rowan woke me at 2am wanting his face rubbed. Then he wanted to go under my doona next to me. Then he didn't. Then he did. Then he didn't. Then he did. You get the idea. Finally, I encouraged him to sleep next to my pillow with the corner of my doona covering him.
I swear Rowan knows how to tell the time. At 7am he started meowing and pawing at my face because he wanted to be fed. So I fed him and went back to bed until 8:15am.
