I slept poorly for the last few hours of the night.  A full bladder will do that!    :tard:

I think I'll sleep well tonight.  It's nice to be home.

Ugh.  For three weeks now my oldest has been getting up between 4:45 and 5:15.  I don't know how to fix this, and it's killing us all slowly.

Time to get him a signal of how late he is allowed to make sounds and get out of his room. Maybe a little light on a timer, or music on a timer. Awake before that, means quiet play.
You could put a cup of water on his room, and maybe something to eat too, when he is asleep, so he will have something in the mornings.

I just bought him this:  http://www.amazon.com/Wake-With-Night-Light-Music-Timer/dp/B0044D0HA2

No luck yet, but only been two nights.  Putting a snack in there does make sense.  Thanks! :)

The urchin still gets up at 4 or 5am.  Not with his drum kit, though.  No, not since it became entangled in the electric saw after one of Mommy's horrific DIY ACCIDENTS! :zoinks:
blah blah blah

cutting a drum kit in half does reduce the noise :headbang2:

:evilplus:    That reminds me of a threat my father made years ago when my brother
played his toy drum to excess ...  "I'm gonna put my foot through that thing!"
