Have not slept well this week.
Last good sleep was Saturday night and I had to arise early Sunday, but I got decent sleep.

I've figured out how to stop Rowan from bothering me so much in the early morning. If he reaches out to claw at my face, just grab his paw. He doesn't like to have his front paws touched so this makes him stop. Today I slept until 7am before I got up to feed the cats and let them out. Better than 5am.

I slept really well for about three hours. Took two hours to get to sleep though.

Slept well until 7am when I had to get up and feed the cats. I had my door shut all night so they didn't bother me. As soon as I opened my bedroom door they rushed toward the back door, expecting to be let out. But they're indoor cats until we get a new side fence (don't know when that is).

Woke up at 5am with a really sore throat due to dryness. Got up and had a drink. Went back to bed feeling better.

Got woken up at 7am by Rowan who was smooching my hand.

This was the night before last but I was laying on my back asleep when Rowan clawed my top lip. What a rude awakening. It was still dark. Anyway, it was so painful that I rolled onto my stomach with my arm pressed against my lip. I lay like that for so long that Rowan went away and I fell asleep again.

I woke up at about 7:10am and got a shock. There was blood all over my hand and the back of my wrist. I went to the bathroom to wash it all off and there was a barely visible scratch on my top lip. All that blood from that? Well I was glad it wasn't anything worse.

Last night I shut the cats out of my room and got a better sleep.

Couldn't find Rowan when it was 7am so Kira got an extra feed.

Then I sleep in until just past 10am which is significant because I'm usually up at just past 9am.
