How well did you sleep last night?

Was up until about 9am last night, and eventually ended up taking a sleeping tablet, which, along with my antiseizure meds, itself a strong sedative and the two together ended up putting me out like a light, just sprawled out on the sofa after draping a coat over my head to keep the light out, eating a liquorice boiled sweet hard candy, called 'sula', sugar free candies, grabbed quite a few boxes of them after they were on sale at the pharmacy I pick my meds up from. Might be sugar free (sweetened with one of the polyol 'sugar alcohols' instead of real sugar), but they still actually taste pretty good.

Think I'll sleep fairly well tonight, too. Had a shot of morphine, a few oxy plus my antiseizure med (chlormethiazole), might take another sleeping pill tonight too, after this movie finishes, if there is nothing good on the horror channel after.

Very well.  However it took 5 mg of Ambien, 2 allergy (Benadyl) and 2 combination (allergy and acetominiphin) pills to put me to sleep.

I slept okay, surprisingly enough I wasn't annoyed at the Dehumidifier this time.

Im lucky.  It only makes me call my g'friend to ask her to wake me up.  Another time I painted my toenails flawlessly.  Usuall only happens when I mix Ambien with wine.

Penny took a while to drop for me on the Ambien joke.

I slept too well. Woke up with a headache. Been cooking frittata for the last 90 minutes and it's still there. Gonna take some paracetamol and go for a walk.

Its weird shit. I'm surprised it ever got off to market what with the incidence of hallucinations, I've had it, and AFAIK, according to a friend, who found me up a privet hedge with a rifle taking pot shots at streetlights in the middle of the night arse naked.

It does weird stuff to people, ambien. God knows, it has the potential for unleashing havoc.
Weirder still, for a sedative-hypnotic, its been used to (temporarily) rouse patients from persistent vegetative states.

I got nary a wink of sleep last night, bar a couple of hours after being awake for several days without rest, got to me, and I drank myself into a brief stupor, whilst I smoked a cigar and had a booze-fuelled cat-nap, just to keep me at functional levels of sleep for...well just tolerating existence really, I was that sleep deprived that 2 liters of lamb's navy rum and prince consort dark rum had to go down the hatch, with only a shot left in the prince consort and the liter bottle of Lamb's drank dry.

Now, meds in me, I'll definitely pop a sleeping pill later after taking and having all my meds kick in, its been too long since I rested at all, not feeling well for three days, maybe four, no sleep. And no sleep a crotchety Lestat Rett makes.

hard to fall asleep, and then slept lightly as if i had been drinking, and woke up with the humming hangover feeling, yet still slightly giddy and glad despite slight exhaustion. i did not drink yesterday, or do any other drugs, just overloaded on happiness and excitment of PEOPLE.

and i might have screwed myself up with a late evening cup of jasmine tea- but, in my defense, the day before i had had an evening cup and passed right out into a nice satisfying deep, 8hour sleep. not so last night, go figure.
