and leaving a warning not to speak about them.

She was. Apparently for not specifying stongly
enough that she wished to remain, when asked.
Something that I somehow managed. Three of
us (as far as I know) were asked. Only I survived.
That may not be for long - more intentional than
any of the others.

i don't see any reason to edit out names of banned members. Perhaps some bans should be appealed?

It's not editing out names, but whole posts. I know technically we shouldn't speak of members, but I adhere to Vivus et mortuis nil nisi bonum. Basically, as long as it is positive or neutral comments, we can do so publicly.

People who have a shot at an appeal should not have their names removed from posts. Those that have no chance should not be talked about so they are not tempted to come back.
