An ultralight plane that failed to gain enough altitude nailed a Ferris Wheel. Fortunately there were no injuries.  It must have startled the hell out of a few people.

I thought the incident sounded absurd and improbable at first but it turns out there's an airfield behind the festival ground (the ferris wheel presented a hazard for planes landing to begin with)
