but it SUCKS... IF he did it, nobody's gonna punish him. at WORST he would get evicted, but he could equally throw the "weed bomb" on my landlord, and im out too...
cops are never gonna lift a finger for a pet or suspicious neighbor w a pet problem...
he will get away w it clean...
my brother showed interest in this, as i hoped. maybe i can get him to ask. he is.. persuasive :D and not "as stupid as he looks" sortof guy, he can sniff out lies

the landlord came down to tell the guy not to be such a douche
the guy even begun to argue w the landlord...

cat's still missing. landlord decided to be diplomatic about it, and blame local badgers, which, i guess, is a possibility... i think the neighbor did it. the timing matches too well...

Go find the website of your local plod.   Copy their logo to make some
headed paper.  Send him a letter saying you would like him to call in at
the station about several reports linking him with a missing local cat.

Stress that at the moment you just want him to help with enquiries, but also
stress that the police do not take this kind of thing lightly.

It will shit him up a bit.  So what if he takes it to the police station - he will
just look a prick.  Get a friend, not at the address to print and mail it.

and no, i wont start a war. the landlord was down here to talk sternly to him about making ridiculous threats, but he also talked sternly to be about smoking indoors  ::)
the bastard(neighbor) got ahead of me, and actually complained about me first. the landlord came down to talk to me primarily, and in my aspieness, i could only stand and listen. after he left, i sent him a text explaining quickly that little detail about my aspieness, and that i did indeed have a couple of things i wanted to say.
thankfully the landlord came back quickly, and confronted the neighbor about running his mouth and being a dick. sadly, (and well, as to be expected) the landlord wanted to be diplomatic about it, and decided that the cat probably was taken by a badger or something, and that we should make up and be friends.

That is unsatisfactory zeg.  I could not continue living under the same
roof as someone like that.  Every time they smiled i would wonder what
they had done to my cat.

Gaffa tape him to a chair and torture the mo-fo with some pliers and
a blow torch until he talks.  Then tell him 'out'.  Tell him if he squeels
again to the landlord you will decorate his room with a new kind of wallpaper
called hint of dissected gentleman parts.
