What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Played a couple of 5-a-side games of football. The hall we play in is an old converted railway shed, and it's usually freezing. It's roasting at the moment. Some of the roof looks like its made out of clear plastic. Im the goalkeeper, and it was like spending 2 hours standing in a greenhouse Really not fun, especially when I turned up in my huge, thick goalkeepers top

At times, I thought I would either faint, or puke Even now, I think Im still dehydrated, and cant stop drinking.

  Do you drink just plain water?  Try some Gatorade to restore electrolyte balance! 

I didn't have any water with me Its usually so cold, I dont need it.

I do drink Lucozade though. I think its probably similar to Gatorade. Dont think Ive ever tried Gatorade.

The two aren't alike. Lucozade is NOT suitable for electrolyte replacement. Just tastes good. But there aren't the required salts needed in there to combat dehydration due to great exertion.

Yeah it does. I drain those little bottles to the last drop in one big gulp. Yum.

  I drink Powerade Zero ( sugar-free Gatorade drink ) at work on really hot days, and it does help.

  *passes bottles of it to all the electrolyte-depleted people*

Went and looked at a building I am bidding work on
Went to a house and went over what I am doing there next week with the builder
Cleaned up around the house
Had my annual workman's compensation insurance audit which thankfully went well
Picked up a check for the work I did last week

Not a whole lot but I did make some chicken stock this afternoon. Checked the gutters on the roof and cleaned them out too. Was thinking when they're forecasting thunderstorms for the coming days it might be best that 'my' gutters are clean and can manage quite a bit of rainwater.

Iz quite a practical chap (nowadays).

Spent the day insulating the garage cinema's projection booth.

We are more than halfway done. Next is to pick apart the projector and refurbish it.
