Wrote some scripts that handle an export from our system to another. Well technically I finished them today because it was well after midnight.

And yesterday I had a candid talk with my new boss.

This afternoon I went to the vegetable garden plot I've promised to look after (for a neighbour) and harvested (um, previous post here I mentioned the veggie plot I said 'knicked' some strawberries but I never knick (or steal) anything.. like ever, NO.

She, who hires the little stretch of fertile land, basically 'ordered' me to harvest stuff. To let veggies/fruit go rotten is a stupid thing to do and has a negative effect on the yet healthy plants in the process)(blahiah/sørry).. so I harvested*, this afternoon, two small courgettes, a lettuce (a butterhead?) AND 1350 grams of strawberries. Um, that's the weight after I cleaned the bunch and cut of the bits not wished in the jam I've made after these little tasks were done with.

*

Made, yes yes/thus, strawberry jam too, this afternoon. Easy frikkin' peasy.. and nice. Plus, I'm going to make a pasta dish from the two (plus the one I bought in the super
market a coupz of days ago) courgettes for dinner in p/m an hour's time.

Listened to it rain.
Started laundry, went outside, pulled the chairs back on the porch...
Listened to it rain again.
Watched the lights flash on and off like a strobe.
Pulled the chairs back on the porch, picked up some branches.
Heard a tree crash somewhere in the woods.
Listened to the thunder.
Went back inside and listened to the rain...again.
Pulled the chairs back on the porch.
I think I'm either going to have to nail their legs to the porch or get heavier chairs. >:D

Worked.
Finished painting a room. Swept, mopped, and dusted the living room. Didn't really have time to do the thorough job I wanted on the kitchen.

Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

Medal for sg's hard work

:agreed:    Scrubbing filthy rooms is noble, and removing flammable lint from the dryer is potentially lifesaving!

Me too!  Fresh garden produce is so delicious.  I love butter lettuce.
