^ Hope you find a job soon. Getting sacked via not good enough exam must suck big time. Good luck.

I've made myself some leek soup, which might not be very appealing to some but it's actually quite quite nice, and from the other half of the (shank/beef) broth I've made some tomato soup for my sister.
Sister, whom got good news this morning and surgeons had taken away the bad (cancer) tissues in breast and armpit and it seemed she had luck on her side. I was (we all were) very cheerful/happy about that.
But, she had another appointment with doctors later on this afternoon and they still want to give her radiation treatments and.. chemotherapy. Doctors said it was a that much aggressive form, and my sister being quite young still (41 y/o), they wish not to take any chances.
Which probably will be for the best (dunno) but ja, means that she will feel very sick and probably will lose her hair.. and have lots of other negative business to handle.
I'm going to help them (sis, bil and three kiddos) the best I can and she's/we're GOING TO WIN THIS BATTLE.
Well, made soups, did a clothes laundry, cleaned the kitchen, went for some groceries, brought my sister the homemade tomato soup and we talked for a bit. Also finally finish a formal, and difficult, letter and posted it today.
Oh, ran into a chap I worked with in the supermarket too and he told me he's now a chef (head-chef even) in his father's restaurant downtown. Amazingly in a way.. for he was dx-ed a quite severe pers. disorder in combo with ADHD and bounced about most of the time back then. Well, good for him.
Do doubt the head-chef thing quite a bit now.. um, now that I'm writing it down.. for that seems almost impossible. Three years ago he was a total slacker (okay, he hated the work he had to do.. but still) and that wouldn't be the first lie I've heard him tell.
Well, blahiah.. (and 'oh well' a tadski)
