Watched the Queens Jubilee on tv with ladybug. Made breakfast, cleaned out her backpack and lunchbox and what not. Drove to a friends house to pick up meds for a cat but she forgot to put them in her mailbox. Went to see sick cat anyway, who isn't really sick but store mgmt is freaking out. Had to go smooth things over. Was going to deworm the cat while I was there but have to wait until the vet gives me the meds. Long trip for not much but kitty was happy to see me :)

Continued moving furniture, locating stuff and cleaning surfaces. Took the Jag out for a spin.

Started watching crime series on TV, then bed, sleeping in, breakfast with oldest.
Wasted time, because of Vodafone. Bitched about that for a bit.  :P
Got oldest at her dad.
Got youngest back from her staying over at my brother's. So, I've been travelling mainly today. On Sundays, connections suck.
Then went with youngest to my ex, we had dinner there, after that, I took two tired girls home. Gave them hot chocolate, had them brushing their teeth, and, in bed.
Now avoiding my bed, but, I am knackered. Watched crimeseries way too deep into this day.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Did some mending and cleaned a bit of the refrigerator, made dinner.

Went to the union hall to try and get one of two job calls. The last of the two calls went to #69 on Book 1 and I was #106 on Book 1. Then I got in touch with a friend who had electrical wiring problems, the power in his garage had gone out. His breaker panel is about 40 years old and no longer an industry standard. As is turns out one half of a two gang breaker (20 amp) was faulty, could not mechanically reset. I secured the power and we went to Platt Electric on the off chance that we could find a suitable replacement, to no avail as it turned out. Anyway he had an unused 20 amp circuit so I set the garage hot under it with the other wire. The worse thing that will happen that way is the power will go out from overload before damage is done. That fix should last until he has the money to have a new panel put in.

I was almost ripped off by an alternate energy company sales rep who rang the doorbell
and said he was "from the electric company" and "needed to see the bill."  Yes, I showed him
my bill, but there was nothing terribly personal on it (such as Social Security number), and
once I figured that he was NOT on official business and that I did NOT "need" to enroll with a
supplier, I made two calls: 1.) to my REAL electric company to note on my account info that
I DO NOT authorize anyone to switch my service to the other company; and 2.) to the other
company, to complain about the deceptive manner of the sales pitch, and to warn them that if
anyone used my account number from the bill I showed the sales rep, and switched me over
to them, they would be hearing from me again.  :yarly:

Yes, even though I had neither authorized a switch nor given them any financial details
that they could use to make the switch FOR me, I wanted them to hear how irate I was
at having been taken in by their carefully worded, misleading sales pitch.  I feel better
for having spoken up.  Dude, I complained.  :orly:
