I'm starting celery (just cut off the bottom inch or so of a bunch of celery, root it in water and put it in soil), green onions and some carrot tops (bitter, but adds a zippy taste to salads) soon.

Finished the work I was doing on a small commercial building
Returned materials that I did not use and get some different stuff for later in the week

This exchange reminds me of a saying my father had when he saw an attractive light-skinned Negress.  "That's the way I like my coffee.  Cream with a little sugar."  Since I was a little girl I thought it was disrespectful to the race and the woman.  When I was in my early 20's I happened to see a muscular, very attractive, very dark Negro walking down the street.  All of a sudden, out of my mouth popped, "That's the way I like my men, strong and black."  My father never made that comment again.
