Tried some more to clean cat puke stain out of the carpet.
Went to my mum's and had lunch.
Read psychiatric records of my hospital stay in 2005/6. Nothing really surprising in there except that I was put on olanzapine (Zyprexa) for a while. I don't even remember that. And apparently they didn't believe my autism diagnosis. Yet all the way through the nurses notes it says stuff like lack of eye contact, poor social skills, awkwardness, flat affect, etc.

Took PA to the doctor.  The ankle is healing slower than expected, but looks good.  He is out of the cast and into a walking boot, but still no weight on it.  We have official clearance to  :missionary:  :2thumbsup:

Bought him a birthday cake to celebrate his 70th birthday (yesterday) and his cast-away ankle.

Listened a lot of music, and made some decisions.

Wrote some emails, made some calls.

And there was housekeeping and mothering.

Just watched a DVD called "Normal People Scare Me". It is like a documentary made by someone with autism and they interview a lot of others with ASDs. I saw Amy Gravino in it, I remember her from WP.

Took the car in.  check engine light came on twice and it's making a chirpy-whirring noise.  Have another oil leak and the alternator is covered in oil, hence the noise.  Will bring it in on Tues for repairs.

Went to the bank and ordered new checks after discovering I only had one left

Ate a fried egg on toast. Made a vegetable broth. Had a coffee and made the dough for this evening's pizza. It's now rising in a bowl with a wet kitchen towel over it.

Preparing to go and run some errands now. You know, brush my teeth and put on my fancy dress.

Dinner after that.

How you make your vegetable broth, what vegetables do you use?  :orly:

Happy 70th to the Prince Consort, may he continue to heal well.
