Had some elk steaks at a friend's place. Elk tastes really good.
Never tried that. Had buffalo burgers and venison though.

I tried buffalo burgers at my old job, they're very good.
Not burgers from NY.  :hahaha:

Au contraire, they were hot, fresh and delicious!  You should try one.  :M

Looked up flights from SFO to Natal Brasil. 21 hours because of stops in Miami and Sao Paulo.  :o That is a little daunting, quite a bit more time than 12 hours to NZ.

I have a friend who lives in Chile, in La Serena. Takes him 30 hours to Sweden when he visits.

Elk is yummy when done right.

And so is reindeer. I make a mean reindeer stew.

Yeah there is a qualitative difference between flying for 12 hours versus a full day plus. Still our ancestors had to hang out on a boat for weeks at a time.  :zombiefuck: My friend Bill told me Natal is a better tourist destination than Rio or Sao Paulo and has good public transport. He and his wife are from Natal. Natal is also more tropical than Rio so it will be either hot or raining. Brazilians have good food and pretty women.

Done the usual little things but also made 8 appelflappen. Not to be-feather my rear end here but they're nicer than the 4 I made a couple of days ago.

Aaah, the puff-pastry ones?

They are better than the deep-fried ones IMO. Completely different too, but, bearing the same name.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Returned a present I bought for a more appropriate present.
