@ Hykey.. Ja, not tried it yet but think this grater could work fine grating nutmeg too. For cheese it grates a bit too fine, I experienced yesterday. E.g. too fine grained for on a pizza.

~

Gave yesterday's bought plants (Lophomyrtus) bigger pots with fresh rich soil and placed them in 2 zinc 'over-pots'. The combination of the colour of the zinc and the purple-ish colours of the leaves looks pretty good. Also made chicken/vegetable soup again this afternoon. Going to dust and vacuum.. um, now.. ~>

Too fine for cheese to my liking too.

It would be a great grater for Swiss Geska cheese, but, alas, haven't been able to buy that in a cone for years now.
Tastes so much better than the pre-grated version.

I have just been to my very first parents evening!

pleasantly surprised.  academically his knowledge of numbers, alphabet, phonics etc are very much in line with the other kids.  he still struggles with holding a pen and is still trying to do this with both hands.  he surprised everyone when they played a game where other children were pulling faces and he had to find the angry one, sad one etc,  she said he got top marks.  he does need to understand about
personal space more.  really really pleased.  well done little urchin

Yay for the Urchin!  :2thumbsup:

When monkeyboy was his age I used to tell him to pretend that everyone has a bubble around them, and if you get too close, you'll pop they're bubble and that will make them feel uncomfortable. Worked well. If I was around and I saw he was crowding in on personal space I'd quietly say "bubble" and he'd take 2 steps back.

The flipside is that I reminded him that HE has a pretend bubble around him too and if someone is in his space, he has the right to ask them to step back.

i stayed away from kids when i was in school... i would try and socialise sometimes but most of the time i was a loner... for the best though because when i was around kids i was bullied non stop and that would usually get me into fights... 90% of the time i won... been suspended from multiple schools for that.

My son is the opposite. Loves to be around people and will talk your ear off. Personal space (or lack thereof) was a huge issue for him.

Good for the Urchin.  He's paying attention even when it doesn't seem he is.

Added to my violin technique book.
Work.
Gave my friend her belated birthday present (it was her birthday on Tuesday, and I forgot to take the present with me when I saw her then).
Concert (opening night for the musical I'm playing in).
Good luck tonight! What musical is it?

HMS Pinafore.

I've emptied the roof gutters of the leaves that cumulated there. Made a lam's meat shawarma wrap with some veggies and garlic guacamole. Went to BoZ town's centre and bought some things there. Did other daily stuff but forgot to wash some of my clothes.  :zoinks:

Brought the PR to and from class, went to a thrift store, came home, took a nap, took PA to the doctor, had an early  dinner date with him, bought the PR dinner, got money from the bank

Went grocery shopping.  Found some pie pumpkins on sale for 25 cents a pound.  I'm going to make pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving.  Flowers may be sent to East Jefferson Hospital for whoever eats my pie fiasco.

I am optimistic about your pie project, and eagerly anticipate MY share!   :2thumbsup:
