I got up when my alarm went off at 3:10 am, picked up my friend/union brother to take to the airport @ 3:30 am. Dropped him off @ 4:27 am. Came home took a short crappy nap. Got up @ 6:45 am. Went to my Union Hall for 8:15 am work calls. A friend and I got the two calls for a substation job changing out relays, running conduit, pulling wire and terminating the various control circuits. It will be a 5 10 schedule to start, possibly even more OT later, supposed to last until March. This job might pay for another trip overseas.  :eiffel:  :hyke:  :zoinks: :woohoo:

I am very happy for you and I hope you take a wonderful trip after the job is done!  :eiffel:

So many different textures!  Capybaras are like giant guinea pigs, aren't they?

Yes. Cross between a hare and a guinea pig so they're very skittish. I also go to pet an owl. Forgot that one.

That's cool!  I love owls, but I'd never thought of them as being pettable!   :yarly:

This fellow has a broken wing that couldn't heal so he'll always be at the farm. I can't remember what kind he was but he's NOT nocturnal and I think he hails from Russia? He's MASSIVE.

So far...

Got woken by the urchin playing his drum kit at 0500 hrs!

I shouted at him, and was a mean mommy.  I eventually woke up
properly and felt bad  especially when he said  "nice mommy's don't
shout"

so when he said "nice mommy's go on trampoline"  i had to oblige
him and was outside on the big trampoline at 0600 hrs!

Feel really good now and recommend waking up this way!
blah blah blah

No thank you, not yet.  :hyke:

I got woken at a bit after 7 by the cat. He let me sleep in for a change.
Then motivated two kids to school,
and, I called in sick today. I always tell people to call in at work when they are sick, also when they have holidays, but, I never do that myself. Today I did.
I had planned on painting and wall-papering my bedroom, but, I will already be extremely proud if I manage to hang the washing without help. No way I could have delivered mail today. So, yes, I am sick. And calling in sick makes me have the right on an other day off. Some things are good about having a job at this firm.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Eat, drink, sleep, breathe, circulate some blood, poop, pee...the usual!

All of the above except poop so far, but that is about to happen.

I did the usuals too.. plus brushed my teeth, took a shower, supermarket, etc.. but.. I played the piano for over half an hour today also. Um, the instrument is a tad out of tune (it kinda hates the changes of the seasons/the difference in indoors humidity) but I felt good about it (me playing).

Oh, ate some (real) crab salad on toast too. (that's not that usual here)

crab. hmm. It's a really strong taste, and like sardines, I sort of like it, but only one or 2 bites or it is tooooo much.

Today I woke up, drove Hailey home, went to work, and now deciding what to do for the rest of the day.

I got in touch with my oldest and dearest best from I had from 13 - 25. Why only 25 ? well we had a big fight and didnt talk for 6 years :s It was strange seeing him. He came over and brought his new girlfriend and she was a nice lady and we talked for a few hours.

Strange how things just go away. I mean we really had a very bad falling out, and it seems like it never ever happened. At the time his girlfriend was very very paranoid. Maybe for good reason, as he really was a playboy. But honest it was never with me. I tried to explain that to her, that she WANTS him to be with me cause if he is with me he isnt out trying to get into someones pants.

Well, instead she viewed me as the threat - like most girls do ! And she was very sneaky and long story short made many lies and turned him against me. I got mad, and called him some extremely not nice names. And I dont mean asshole or cunt I mean names that end friendships.

Hope this girl has some self esteem.
