I have a beautiful spirea planting that has overgrown its allotted space. I did some light trimming near the front entranceway to the house. It was very early, well before it got too hot to breathe.

I did a big grocery shop. :hadron: When I finished putting away the food, Sugarbutt thanked me. I thought that was silly, so I told him, I have to feed him or else they'll come and take him away from me.  :lol1:

Went to the ER to have an emergency endoscopy done due to a stricture in the old esophagus, worse than usual.  Had it done and I feel better.  Just have to do a follow up for awhile.

Thanks, I called out from work today as my head still feels a bit foggy from the anesthesia.  I'm taking it easy today!   :yawn:

  • Woke up realizing I was sleeping without my c-pap (uh-oh)
    I'm dogsitting until Thursday
    Did some necessity shopping
    Put stuff away
    Waiting for my appointment with my therapist

I did my Saturday house cleaning. :hadron: I also tried to start on a project I do each year for a family member's birthday, but I ran into a hiccup and need the girl to help me. She said she has a 48 hour turnaround for service requests, so that means it's not happening today.  :lol1: That shoots my evening plans out of the water, so now I don't know what to do with myself.  :dunno:

I made some more progress in the garage. :hadron: That's it for me for now. Next month the guys are going to be working on a project in there anyway, and I have things to take care of in the house.  :thumbup:

Some trimming of over grown things here and there around the yard.

Some shrub growth was getting a little beyond boundaries and some perennials were just done flowering. I few weeds to pull.
I have this old man weeder that works as well as advertised and I am so happy with this thing.

This is the weeder and I love it. It is one big weed at a time, but it gets the root out.  If you have an annoying stand of thistles ready to bloom, you need this. Or grab your thick leather gloves and hope to have some luck right after it rains.
