Went to the gym, went to the 7/11 to buy a drink and a bag of ice. Came home and waited for the rain to ease before I could bring some boxes in. Unpacked the boxes, mostly clothes.

Celebrated Midsummer, the last truly pagan Swedish national holiday.

Slept all day. Went to see a live comedy show tonight (FriendlyJordies). Was crass and tasteless but fun.
Got some gelato and couldn't eat it all. Then decided it would be yummy to buy a snack pack of kebab meat and chips and I ate two mouthfuls before giving up. Stoopid head cold.

Spent some time maintaining my chainsaw. Sharpened the blade, took it apart and cleaned it well, oiled up all the moving parts, tested it out and I am ready to cut timber into firewood!

It's brilliant. It's the one holiday they never managed to steal.

When I read that, I was thinking there's an old saying to never turn down a free meal. I looked it up and I think I might be wrong, and the saying is, there's no such thing as a free lunch. Though I did see, a person should never turn down a breath mint.  :lol1:

Went for a walk and noticed my favorite "mystery" tree was flowering and it made me happy. 8)
