I moved slowly and held my breath again, cleaning fragile stuff. I got most of the China hutch done and I'll just have to wait for some tarn-x. I also cleaned the mirrors and glass shelves that flank the fireplace, along with the stuff on the shelves.

Well we went to the Lego store and it was crowded and they had a limit of how many people can go in. I ended up getting early Christmas presents for the kids and we got a free Halloween Lego set because I spent over $100. But they were out of the Spooky packs where you had to spend $50 min to get it for free. The store is all the way on the other side of the area so about a half hour drive with traffic not being bad.

I had to pick up my package at the post office due to "animal inference" and I find out my daughter still had school today even though my son doesn't so I took her. The school district is inconsistent about days off for their schools.

I woke up about 5AM, normal time, but I realized my son had forgotten that chore last night. Good thing I'm an early riser!

I had to pick up my package at the post office due to "animal inference" and I find out my daughter still had school today even though my son doesn't so I took her. The school district is inconsistent about days off for their schools.

... but now days a chihuahua barking somewhere causes them to just give up delivery. Imagine that.

They also won't deliver if they see a leashed dog outside. Oh my. I think this post man has a real fear of dogs. I don't unless they are acting aggressively. If they're behind a fence area or leashed, I am not afraid and I just steer clear of them.

Visited the Thrift shop, got some films... now I'm hiding in my flat downstairs.

I think that's fine. Even very friendly dogs have the potential to be overly aggressive toward postal workers. All the dog knows is the same axe murderer shows up almost every day, and the dog feels successful at frightening them away.
