How many Dawgs does it take to change a light bulb? :zoinks:

Spent my day in meetings. No real work done. Talked to the CEO about the so-called product, though, and he was very careful not to undermine anything I have done to date.

I've been a bit scattered today and I didn't feel like touching anything fragile, so I dug out the finishing wax that I bought to repair the dull spots on the dining table a while back, and tried using it to polish the hutch since I was so impressed with how the table turned out. Then I got sidetracked with cleaning the hardware, and next thing I know I'm going to the store because I was out of brass cleaner. I came home with pumpkins and brass cleaner and made a pass on both the hardware and the hutch. Next thing I know it's eight and I still haven't eaten so I packed up my supplies, and I'll give both the hardware and hutch another treatment tomorrow. Since I didn't actually finish anything, I don't get a trophy today.   :dunno:

Spent the day working on a piece of software our management refers to, and sells, as a product. Until very recently it was a piece of vapourware, just an idea that I had, but who needs technicalities like that?
Congratulations.

Got fitted with a 14 day heart monitor.
Ever got that feeling that you're trying to teach a dog a card trick?

I finished polishing the china cabinet. It looks awesome and I'm especially pleased with the hardware. :hadron: Now I just need to clean all the stuff inside it.  :dunno:

Cheers.  I had it done at a private hospital so I'm getting the best care.  It's hopefully something minor.

I wiped out the fridge and made my shopping list for tomorrow, and I went out and picked up prescriptions. I also deep cleaned all three vacuums, so the filters are nice and fresh when I do a deep dusting this weekend. :hadron:

Two loads of washing. I even folded a fitted sheet. Or rather I folded it twice and then rolled it up. :zoinks:

The best way I found to deal with fitted sheets is to fold them in quarters without even trying to be neat. Next fold the flat sheet in half and lay the fitted sheet and pillow cases on top of it, and fold it all up neatly inside the flat sheet. Then all the matching pieces are together in one tidy bundle.
