Cleaned, disassembled the motor and oiled the bearings on a big upright fan I curb picked the other day.

It's working nicely now.

Great job!! I love finding these treasures and "free" is always best!

I dumpster dove when I was still running a photography studio at Fort Harrison before it closed down. Sixties built huge stand mounted fan with "the bearing out" the location Sgt told me, just tossed.

No bearing out, just a loose set screw on the motor shaft allowing the blade to hit the casing.  I still use this Classic. Repainted it, since.

I made a shrimp and scallop chowder. It is awesome!!

Fresh anything from the sea is uncommon and/or expensive in Indiana, but I got lucky yesterday.

My sweet wife will be so surprised and happy.

Caught a starling that was stuck inside the house I was working on and put it outside.

Went to the cinema for the first time since lockdown and saw Dune.  Nearly 3 hours long and even though I was in the bigger, comfier VIP chairs I still wished my body bent like a reed in the wind.

If you liked the book go see it -it's the best version they've done.

Unpacked a few boxes. Did some more shopping to refill the pantry. Cleaned the cat's litter trays. Got my desk and computer setup after my internet decided to work finally.

Cool! Is it far from your old place? Does it have a pub over the back fence? Have you met your new neighbours? How are your cats coping?

The first thing Liam did after keeping him inside for a week was jump the back fence.

I understand from reviews I've read that Skarsgard  (sp?) is phenomenal in his portrayal. I can't wait to see it.

Not sure if I'm going to see it. I wasn't a big fan of the books.
