It looks much nicer now that its all down and clean than when it was half done anyway.   Just hope I can get the electrician here soon  so I can close it all back up.  I don't deal with the coloring that is Mrs Parts department the other half of the room is like a coffee color now but that might be changing

Grey is all the rage for painted rooms these days. It's something I never would have thought my mum would choose when my parents built their house, but, grey it turned out to be.

I decided on a very, very faint grey for the walls with a grey 2 or 3 shades darker for the trim.  What shocks people is that all the cabinets (kitchen and bathroom) are shiny black.  For once I was ahead of the fashion curve.  And we have grey tile floors, sort of a swirly pattern.

Slept in.
Took Kayleigh to physio and caught up with an old uni friend while I was there. A lovely person, she is.
Had toasted egg sandwiches for lunch.
Sorted out Google Calendar to meld Kayleigh's calendar with mine.
Applied for a night-fill job at Coles - a big supermarket.

I'm typing this on my laptop.

From what I've seen, ALL Walmarts suck to work for. 

Is there any other job you can get besides Satan's Five and Dime??   :dunno:

The Lowe's in the US is a big box hardware store.  It competes with Home Depot, another big box hardware store.
