Hugs for you, Py. It's not easy.

Today was errands. Groceries, library, thrift store, banking, gas station etc. Productive and now I can relax.

I don't know how he reacted yet, it's still a half hour before I have to go pick him up.  :LOL:

I got home and cried.  :P Then I took a shower, then started running around trying to clean the house, because it's a nightmare.

I start work again on Monday. Figured I'd give him a couple days to adjust, where I could turn up easily if needed. Also gets me a break.

Yeah... I made a list and about 2/3 of it was "have to's" and 1/3 was fun stuff. Then I went and burned through a bunch of have to's because I wanted to get them out of the way or something. And then instead of doing the fun stuff I wrote down, which suddenly felt like it required a ton of energy, I'm catching up here.

Mama will be fine and cub will be fine.  The first day at day care is always the worst.  I remember dropping Amber off at daycare, tears aplenty, wailing....so I hung back out of sight...within a few minutes, she was off doing her own thing, interacting, being herself.....the little drama queen.  The head lady said that it took only several minutes before she saw all the toys and kids and got distracted....
