Now taking a break from taking down Christmas decorations with kid. Lorre decided to sit between us in one of the cardbox boxes. Scrutinising our actions in the most adorable way. Getting nosed by us now and then. He ended up somewhat sparkly.  :santa:

It was tiresome, apparently. He just crashed down on my lap.

I also did other stuff, like getting groceries and being a mum.

Being a cat who has to constantly supervise weirdly unpredictable humans is exhausting.  :green:

Being a human who has to constantly supervising another cat, with fairly new and very naughty behaviour is also exhausting.

Really, Luna is one of those women who doesn't give a shit about anything after growing old. Her behaviour completely changed. She's almost worse than Lorre was when he entered this household as a starving kitten.

It's funny though. And she does manage to still pull a face as if she is innocence itself. (Acting like murdered innocence, is the Dutch expression)

I've noticed a shift in the oldest pup now that she's reached her middle aged years and she has zero tolerance for anything that annoys her. She grumbles a lot now.

Luna used to be extremely well behaved. Half a year ago she decided it was time to use the dining table as a sitting area, also during meals. Couple of months ago, she decided that checking the countertops for food, the moment no human is around, was a good idea.
Yesterday she came home, smelling of soup, with a tomatosoup coloured face.

Really, she has reached her wild years. She's over 15 years old now. She also is back to way more playful.
In the mean time Lorre has decided that being nearly three years old is the age to behave like an old cat, sleeping in warm corners. (Though, he can do that now, since he has secured his dominance over the huge half Norwegian forest cat from next door. Just the sight of Lorre makesthat cat run away.)

Did some reading, walked the dog, reviewed whitepapers for a conference, and watched Back to the Future Pt II & III.

SIL's Keurig coffee maker died and she brought it up for me to fix, I gave her mine that I wasn't using instead.

Started tinkering with the broken one before I tossed it and fixed it. Now this little fucker is parked on my countertop like the last one. :roar:

Maybe she'll want a spare?

Not much but watching it snow.
Very light but pretty to watch with a cup of fine coffee. A bit too cold to enjoy being out there.

Almost kicked the cat in her butt after she played me meowing to go outside 3 times in less than 20 minutes.  At 5 in the morning.

I don't care how the cub reacted.  How is Mama?

(I was fine since I worked and PA took The PR to daycare, therapy and pre-school.)

Took the cub to his first day of daycare.  :'(

It gets easier.

Remember this when he's 15 and your skipping down the street after the school bus comes after 3 months of summer vacation. :zoinks:
