Had a really cool encounter with a woman I had been wanting to meet. We have mutual friends. Ran into her (almost literally, was shopping and we both rounded the corner at the same time and nearly bashed into one another) and we got to talking and we have a ton in common. It was the connection I needed.

Today I went to work, ate cake (there was cake at work today), and came home, took care of my pup, got a car transferred to my name (I guess i have a car !). It actually makes me nervous. Well.... after that, I surfed ze vveb, and then cooked dinner a few hours later for myself and my bro. My mom and father had some too.

My brother is in town briefly, my father stopped by to see him.

So far I have coloured my hair. I mixed two boxes of blue-black with a deep cherry violet in the hopes it would go eggplant purple, but I think it just went black-black
As usual I dyed various parts of my bathroom as well.

Kayleigh dyed the bathroom mat pink in spots yesterday. I'm really happy about it. Not.

I went over to my friend's place and helped her decorate her family's Christmas tree. Sooooo many decorations. She showed me all the stuff she's putting outside on Christmas Eve day. I will help her with all that. Looking forward to it. Just hope it won't be too hot.

Went to the Christmas function and won an award. Manager drove me home and sang my praises. Things seem like they are getting better on the work front

There's also some on the bench next to the sink that I've scrubbed at but failed to remove and also some on the wall near the towels. I thought that was bad until I saw her pillow.

My cousin died hers purple a few months ago and sent me pics of her bathroom afterwards. I couldn't stop laughing. That stuff gets EVERYWHERE

Returned the last book I read from the library and picked up another one that was on hold for me.

Finished the last major purchases for christmas.   Just a few little things to get xmas eve.

Went and picked up my friend because both of us had a hair appointment at the same time. She had hers dyed (red and purple) while I had a wash and cut. It's so much shorter now. My mum will freak when she sees it.

Afterwards we went back to my friend's house and we watched Queen at Wembley Stadium. Really good. Then we had lunch (spring rolls) and I tried to help her with her resumé. She ended up lying about heaps of stuff on it, to the point where I felt uncomfortable. I asked her how she would go proving some of the stuff (actual qualifications) and she didn't have an answer.

But anyway, I went home for pain meds (headache - I think it's the heat) and then I realised that I hadn't bought my mum a birthday card or paper for her present so Kayleigh and I went to the main shopping centre for that. Kayleigh bought some Starlink accessories for the Nintendo game.

Then I took us to the car washing place nearby. Kayleigh lectured me on how to wash the car while I was washing it and I said, "Next time you're not coming along." So I washed it the way I always do and drove home.

I ate yoghurt for dinner. That's all I feel like. It's cold and tastes nice.

Did a lot of Christmas baking for my family and the company my mother invited over tonight. Carrot cake with agave nectar, pumpkin pie, nanaimo bars, rice krispie squares. Then used baby bedtime as an excuse to hide from the company as soon as I could get away with it.
