Had a consultation appointment with the neurologist, plus another neurology appointment made.
Seems like I'm at least getting some misunderstandings cleared up.
And got to buying some needed food, drink, a couple of things from the pharmacy (pharmacies, strictly speaking). Took meds various times, haven't slept at all today, did a little yesterday and last night a very little bit, but haven't done my vacuum pump&carbon disulfide shopping yet, because I want to be wide awake and fit to clock on to any bargains I can grab.
Oh, and went to the pet-shop. No, not to buy any pets or pet food. I needed some more plastic tubing (I'm rather brutal on plastic tubing, to the extent that at least three quarters of the time I end up writing it off as lab consumables, it dies often, and often dies quickly, but always has long enough, if only just, to do it screaming in agony :spazz:) and while I was at it I decided to treat myself to a new coolant...err...water pump. It'll be water some of the time anyhow, or at least partially water. Hopefully it won't have a problem with chilled alcohols or ethylene glycol (antifreeze), although I'll not run anything especially hard on or known for dissolving plastics through it. IRRC this one is something like 1500 or 2500 (forget which now) liters per hour capacity, although it did cost me a bit over £50. The other one cost about £20 for comparison in terms of performance. And sometimes it has trouble maintaining enough flow rate, especially when something needs to run hot and fast, and this one has adjustable flow rate up to the maximum too, plus a second outlet, intended for a fountain, but which I plan to hack into an adjustable second flow port so I can power two condensers from the same pump, for when I need to run 3-4 in parallel for those moments where setups get complicated and involve a couple of flasks refluxing and boiling at different temperatures, connected up to more in a dry ice/acetone or liquid nitrogen/dry ice slush bath, plus inert atmosphere and generally speaking what could be described as 'the works, the whole, damnable, fucking annoyingly complicated to set up, even more so to use, and just an utter shitbag to actually use and maintain in the correct working parameters as required by this whole bastardly lot'o'work works'
