Talked to people on the phone. I'm traumatised now.

Took The PR bowling.  Stopped for groceries.  Found out our pharmacy is closing.   :'(

I would be mighty peeved if our pharmacy did because it's only a five minute walk down the road.

Why is yours closing?

Not totally sure.  It's in a chain grocery store, Winn-Dixie which will be filing for bankruptcy soon.  Some W-Ds have already been sold to another chain.  The other W-D affiliated pharmacies are still open.  It's only 7 blocks from the house, so super convenient.

The man I paid last year to mow my lawn stopped by and took a quick look at my lawn mower and showed me how to check it out and  how to mow.  I played dumb grey haired lady. At least I know it works and I didn't do mortal injury to myself.  It was only the side yard but I did it.

Had a blood test early this morning.
At home I worked on my online course and then had lunch.
Afterwards, a nap.
Took Kayleigh to see the anaesthetic she's having for her colonoscopy.
Went and had my bone density scan (thought I would while I was at the hospital). Results show that my bone density has improved since 2014.

Went out with a friend to a craft show. I didn't buy anything there. Then we had lunch at Some. I had two mango drinks and potato wedges. Not following the diet, I know, but I'll have less for dinner.

We went to The Reject Shop where I bought some stickers. $4.

Then I came home.

Bought gas for the lawn mower and car ($20).

Mowed about a 20 by 25 foot patch of lawn.  Thats's enough for this old lady today. Slow and steady wins the race and doesn't kill me.

Nobody has to keep track of you grey area, your autistic, ergo your sleep cycle is either nonexistent or it is fucked in the ass sideways  and  a vestigial part of you desperately clinging onto something for dear life and screaming all the way.

Because thats what autistic people's sleep cycles, if they have one, do. You might as well expect a tapeworm to take up kickboxing as expect anything else. Its fucked, get used to it :autism:

As for pharmacies, I'd be royally pissed if the one I go to closed. It isn't the nearest one, there are two, maybe three that are closer to my place, but I have to go further afield to pick my scripts up, because the one I go to is the closest place that I can get hold of chlormethiazole, at least, short of making it myself, which isn't actually terribly difficult to do (two steps, cleavage of vitamin B1 with bisulfite or metabisulfite, then after purification, carefully, as the other cleavage fragment is known as toxopyrimidine, and its a potent convulsant poison, acting as a vitamin B6 antagonist, thankfully its highly soluble in water, whilst the desired methylthiazole-2-ethanol isn't, so water washes can serve to get rid of the toxopyrimidine. Then dissolve the methylthiazole-2-ethanol in anhydrous cold acetone and add a solution of thionyl chloride in anhydrous cold acetone dropwise then extract with dichloromethane or in a pinch, chloroform, and separate the DCM from the chlormethiazole base by means of vacuum distillation, since chlormethiazole is somewhat heat sensitive, and can undergo some sort of thermal cracking if regular atmospheric pressure distillation is attempted that will ruin the batch and raise the most godawful repulsive stench.

I finished mowing the front lawn.  I don't know what PA used to complain about.  It's hard, but I've survived so far.  True confession -

a) he wouldn't use the power assist on the mower but I do
b) it's exercise to the max for me
c) I secretly like it, at least for now the temperature isn't brutal.

Had a consultation appointment with the neurologist, plus another neurology appointment made.

Seems like I'm at least getting some misunderstandings cleared up.

And got to buying some needed food, drink, a couple of things from the pharmacy (pharmacies, strictly speaking). Took meds various times, haven't slept at all today, did a little yesterday and last night a very little bit, but haven't done my vacuum pump&carbon disulfide shopping yet, because I want to be wide awake and fit to clock on to any bargains I can grab.

Oh, and went to the pet-shop. No, not to buy any pets or pet food. I needed some more plastic tubing (I'm rather brutal on plastic tubing, to the extent that at least three quarters of the time I end up writing it off as lab consumables, it dies often, and often dies quickly, but always has long enough, if only just, to do it screaming in agony :spazz:) and while I was at it I decided to treat myself to a new coolant...err...water pump. It'll be water some of the time anyhow, or at least partially water. Hopefully it won't have a problem with chilled alcohols or ethylene glycol (antifreeze), although I'll not run anything especially hard on or known for dissolving plastics through it. IRRC this one is something like 1500 or 2500 (forget which now) liters per hour capacity, although it did cost me a bit over £50. The other one cost about £20 for comparison in terms of performance. And sometimes it has trouble maintaining enough flow rate, especially when something needs to run hot and fast, and this one has adjustable flow rate up to the maximum too, plus a second outlet, intended for a fountain, but which I plan to hack into an adjustable second flow port so I can power two condensers from the same pump, for when I need to run 3-4 in parallel for those moments where setups get complicated and involve a couple of flasks refluxing and boiling at different temperatures, connected up to more in a dry ice/acetone or liquid nitrogen/dry  ice slush bath, plus inert atmosphere and generally speaking what could be described as 'the works, the whole, damnable, fucking annoyingly complicated to set up, even more so to use, and just an utter shitbag to actually use and maintain in the correct working parameters as required by this whole bastardly lot'o'work works' :autism:
