What kind of gun QV? and what kind of repairs need doing? Depending on the repairs I might be able to do it for a handgun at least, as long as it doesn't need a new barrel. Got plenty tools in the machine shop .

It would be illegal for her to send it to you.

Then now you know more. It would be illegal for her to do that.

I wouldn't ask her to put her name or return address on a package, just send it anonymously, broken down into parts so I could reassemble them here and fix what needs fixing, since aside from a new barrel, I've got the tools to repair  other parts.

And sending the strap in pieces means far less obvious. I'd want to see the condition and type of the gun though first. And of course do a deal to get rounds for it too. Interested mainly if its a handgun or SMG rather than a rifle. Although anti-materiel rifles would be of interest too.

Stop trying to persuade members to do stupid crap that puts their freedom and child custody at risk.

She could send it somewhere legal, and then they could re-send it on, that would make sure QV was at no risk, since I'd never want to put her in any danger. She means too much to me for me to do that.

Also jack..why are you quoting rather than posting? a strange way to reply.

Interesting. If you think of it, report back with how much you get.

Picked up rx meds refill.

Looked for a source of carbon disulfide, and I think I've found a suitable company, based in china.

Playing fallout tactics whilst watching family guy and american dad on tv. Nearly completed the mission I've been sent on by the brotherhood of steel. I've just got this inconvenient minefield to disarm, and have gotten through three or four antitank mines. Soon as I've both disarmed the minefield, had someone collect the mines and at the last minute, collected the loot on the bodies of the enemies that were close to the exit then I'll have a runner equip an automatic combat shotgun and a hunting rifle for long range shooting.

And got rather lucky in that at least two of the enemies, that I took out close up with a couple of shotgun blasts, two of the buggers were carrying nearly 20 frag grenades per corpse, along with a few spears and some machine-pistols and 9mm ammunition, plus a handful of spears. All bar the grenades I I can sell off once the runner has gone and got the vehicle after the minefield is cleared and the mines  taken for either sale or future use.

Quite a handy moment to find those (at least) two grenadiers, idiots  started firing a sidearm automatic pistol and never got a moments chance to hit the fuckers in the heat with a shotgun blast, removing said bodily appendage in a squishy splatter.

Finished clearing that minefield. And managed to sneakily get the drop on some git lying prone in a sniper's nest who was packing a rocket launcher. Really not someone I wanted to try and just shoot it out at long range trading shots with. So I sent someone through a load of buildings, crawling on all fours and sneaked up behind the little sod, until I got within a couple of feet of the guy with the rocket launcher and put two shotgun blasts into him. Result-scratch one very dangerous enemy-he had the rocket launcher that has a horrendously long range and does an awful lot of damage (expect instant kill on most targets) and was carrying a double-barreled shotgun as a sidearm for anyone who tried to close in. Managed to get to him without him ever knowing the lone soldier was coming for him and put a pair of shells in his ass before he had a hope in hell of retaliating.

And captured his rocket launcher, took the shotgun he was carrying, and for good measure, a few shells and 50 7.62mm rounds. Although the work isn't done yet. Got a few more bodies to loot, and that minefield, all those mines are to be taken, since they can be sold for a decently high price, as well as a few kept for those occasions when facing nasty, tough buggers like deathclaws (think highly intelligent, buggering great big lizard with claws as long as a man's arm that can tear through armor like it were paper, fast, much bigger than a grown man, yet sneaky as sneaky gets, able to take out entire squads of NPC troops without them ever knowing the deathclaw was there, one by one, ghosting them.

And to make matters worse they are built like tanks, able to take an awful lot of punishment before going down, even from heavy weapons fire. The one saving grace about deathclaws is that they are just TOO big to use weapons. They ARE one, they are living weapons, but they can't use firearms and have to close in for melee combat. Which can mean, if you see one from a distance, that you'll get a chance to boobytrap a door with a couple of anti-tank mines or run your team down a dark alley dropping several mines, one on top of the other at the end where the deathclaw would have no choice but to go if its to get to the troops. meaning ideally that they can concentrate on accurate sniper fire to cripple it's legs and blind it before it gets up close and personal.

Helped The PR pick up cupcakes for a wee celebration at therapy.  It's her last day.

(Pray for me.  I now have her 24/7.  Damn I'm going to miss those 4 hours of freedom. :bigcry:)

*sends QV and the PR hugs and well wishes both*

I picked up some CBD oil. There was a really big saving on the bottles, about £6 rather than £25 each for a just under 3% CBD liquid. I've got a few things I want to try doing with it... Was glad to see it advertised on TV. Usually I don't buy from advertisers, on principle I'll go and find it somewhere else that hasn't been advertising but in this case it was just what I needed, and on a big offer.

^What is CBD oil?

Today I slept in a fair bit then Kayleigh and I (once we were ready) went to Officeworks where I bought a USB hub and she got a "compendium" and some other stuff.

Then we went to Aldi (are these everywhere?) and bought groceries.
