Washed 2 loads of clothes, dried one load.  Had to go to the grocery to buy HE detergent.  All I had was the "older" kind.  Now I have lots of older laundry detergent to wash floors, tubs, sinks, battleships, airplanes, etc.

Went to a discount warehouse in search of something specific (Didn't find it) but found instead some bedroom furniture which I love. It's rustic country. And got brand new mattresses for a fraction of the cost if we bought it from the store it originally came from.

Went with Kayleigh to the Disability Services Commission to sign some paperwork, to the chemist for meds and then to Dome (a big cafe) for some lunch.

Then we took Molly to the vet for a checkup after her dental surgery last week. She is going well.

Not a lot, I'm afraid. It started raining (on and off/shortly/not much) and I didn't manage to get to painting but.. I did put some flexy putty (acrylic sealant) in some of the last cracks here and there. They/the stuff will have a hard enough skin tomorrow to be painted, I hope.

Went to a supermarket and bought some stuff there. Going to make an Asian based dish with some pieces of mar. chicken thighs in less than an hour.

Not a very productive day, I'd say. (oh well)

Dropped off a trunk load of stuff at the thrift store
Filled the car with gas
Got cash from the bank
Bought The PR some more clothes and shoes, a set of sheets ($80 out the wallet)  Again, a thank you to all those in the USA who work and help her receive government benefits.
Bought some Gorilla Glue with a 60% off coupon

Went to police station for Kayleigh to get some documents signed, ended up leaving half an hour later as we saw no police and the foyer was becoming packed with people.

Went to the chemist for meds, then had a chicken roll and chips from Chicken Treat. Came home and rang my dad as it's his 71st birthday today.

Thank you. :)  It would be funny to relay your post to him as I don't believe he has ever been on the internet. He has only just learnt how to text on a phone and he's not bad at it. It's difficult to tell him anything about what I am doing at college because he doesn't understand computers.

Today Kayleigh and I went to the Citizens Advice Bureau so she could get paperwork signed by a Justice of the Peace. It's for Kayleigh's birth certificate, she doesn't have one.

Then we went to see my Local Area Coordinator so I could sign more paperwork. The disability services are changing in Western Australia.

Then to Bunnings (hardware store) where I bought a new broom and mop. The mop had better be good, this floor needs it.

Then to City Farmers for cat food. Every tin is a different flavour. I like giving variety to the cats.

Does your cat like the changes in flavouring? My cat hates it when I change his food but loves it when I offer changes in his treats. He gets 7 little Temptations nibbles every night when I go to bed.

I remember when we returned after evacuating for Hurricane Katrina (3 or 4 weeks).  The cats had accidentally been locked out the house (in hindsight good luck for them).  I had brought w\some water, canned cat food and their usual dry food on the way back.  I figured they'd scarf down the canned food because it was moist, flavourful, etc.  Nope.  They ignored it, sat and looked at me until I gave them their usual dry food, which they gobbled down.
