Got gas and drove about 100 mile round trip to look at what turned out to be a very small job :-\

Signed the rental agreement on a hall I'm renting for my graduation party.  Gonna be quite the soiree with almost 100 people RSVPed so far.  It's the evening of December 18th, if any of you happen to be in the area ;)

Got two kids in school.

Also found enough ends of 3 mm pu cord to fix the spinning wheel I got lately. I could not find a place where I could just buy a few meter from that stuff. Not pleased with the bearings I found. Have to find a solution for that. But I will test-spin this baby later today. What I have seen from her so far, she is very smooth.
The extra bits of pu cord were in a box with random stuff I got from Marktplaats a while ago. I made a bid because I wanted one thing out of the box. And I love what was in it further. Most of it was useful to me.

Not much. But, I did finish my tartan. The fabric is a bit stiff, the edges could be a bit neater, especially in the beginning. I did start a bit too dense. But, it is nice. And for a first attempt, I really do like it a lot. So does the oldest. She likes stiff fabrics, and she likes tartans. So, got a new scarf today.

I'm not allowed to warp the loom again this week. It is way too addictive to work on it.

For the curious minds, wanting to see my first attempt.

Frightful meltdown at the bowling alley for the PR.  Internet crap.  Thankfully, she's better now.

I'd love to, but I have engagements elsewhere. :P
