Managed to feed the family and the cat, buy some clothes, some piddling other stuff.

Yes. I have the flu, but only really notice it when it's about time for the flu medicine.

Went and looked a bonus room over a garage someone is finishing
Stopped at the all year flea market and bought some small wire brushes

bought some replacement pants for the PR.  It's funny to not have to worry much about cost, although I'm still not looking to make the insurance company pay too much.

Painted an advent calendar. Picked up meds for WolFish. Played some Myst III Exile.

All her clothes were destroyed in the fire.  I shop the thrift stores first, so it took a long while to build a wardrobe for her.  We have contents coverage that will pay for shopping at a regular store.  It's hard to find more than an item or two that works in a store.  I did manage to find 2 pair of light colored jeans, a dark pair of jeans and a pair of black pants for a little over $60.  They have to have elastic waists.  Now you know more than you thought you could know.

bought some replacement stuffed animals for the PR.  Threatened to take her out of bowling because of her outbursts.

Gone to therapy. Talked about how to be more assertive. Also talked about potential supervisors at uni because my psych did her Master's degree there.

Here's where you learn how to be more assertive.

Braved the mall to buy a couple of new sweaters.

On the way out, became the driver everybody hates, when I was pulling out of a row of parking spaces at a slight angle so there wasn't space for the woman in the giant SUV to pull in at the same time. At that moment WolFish's drink spilled in his lap. In my frantic attempt to back out of this woman's way, ended up right in her path instead, trying to get to a parking spot so I could be out of everyone's way and help clean up the mess.
