At the grocery store packs of gourmet chicken meatballs were marked down to $1.99.  The nicest part is that each one had a $2 off coupon attached.  So they paid me 4 cents to "buy" some for the holidays.  Yessssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did a laundry.. it's in the dryer now, showered, took care of the plants in pots and I'm making a Bolognese (pasta) sauce at the moment. Content of the pan has now been simmering 'away' for an hour and half. Haven't made said sauce for many many months.. and I'm looking forwards eating it (with spaghetti) this evening.

Some ironing, some washing, some cleaning, some dishes. Phonecalls, emails. And went to school for an information evening on a big school trip my oldest will soon have. Was a well organised evening, and fun too.

Woke up, got kid out of bed. Had candlelit breakfast. Read a bit in the newspapers. Got kid out of the door. Will soon be out of the door myself too.
