Driving there from Kiel takes around 7 hours, the ferry from Gothenburg to Kiel roughly 14 hours more. I don't have the time, even if I did want to buy something illegal which I don't.
Add to that the time of year. In February, there will be snow, which means that the Czech roads will be slow, easily adding another hour to the trip. The petrol is costly, especially for a Jag going at past 200 kmph, and the four-day parking fees even more so. My employer wouldn't pay for any of it.
Compare that with 4 hours flying time, plus some more at the airport(s). I can check in a week in advance, which means that I only have to drop off luggage before going through security, IF I need more than my cabin luggage, which I usually don't.
Nah, flying is much faster and much easier.
